Regional conference “Sewage sludge recycling in our region”

Gelsenwasser, together with regional partners, invites you to the Central Germany Regional Conference. The event on the future of sewage sludge recycling will take place on March 5, 2026, at the Metall-Labor Bitterfeld (Bitterfeld-Wolfen) and is aimed at representatives from local authorities, business, science, and politics.

The focus will be on the current challenges of sewage sludge disposal and strategic solutions for a sustainable circular economy in the region. The legal requirements for phosphorus recovery and the associated restructuring of existing disposal structures remain particularly relevant. The event will be held in German.
